I was a little nervous at first when I booked this place because it was off the grid and I hadnt stayed in a place like this before. But I am so GLAD I stayed there. Had I not booked another hostel beforehand, I would have stayed there my entire trip. The host, Rob, was SUPER nice and inviting. I stayed in the cabanas and they were clean and awesome!! First time sleeping in a hammock too. They werent uncomfortable (if you read how to sleep in a hammock), but as someone who normally tosses and turns, it was nice until the end. Met lots of cool people there and they were super inviting. Good idea for travelers, backpackers, and families alike if you want a more nature-inspired visit, and not just staying in a boring hotel. Definitely a unique experience and will be staying there again on my next visit. The only downside would probably be the road going up to the house, its a little "bouncy" haha. But worth every bump.

Loved our experience here! We showed up late and left right after sunrise, but we had everything we needed and check in was super easy! Would have loved to stay more nights or get to enjoy the place a bit longer. We loved being able to watched the sunrise from our cabana! If you're a diva this place may not be for you, but if you just want to enjoy the Hawaiian open air and some nature, this is the spot!

Lovely nature place. Comfy and silence.

This place is amazing. The host was super nice. Told us everything we needed to know and was very helpful. I would Not only recommend this place but if I ever come to the big island again I will definitely be staying here

Horrible Customer Service. Vacation nearly ruined. They still have my money. It is one thing to have a bad experience but is another thing to feel insulted from their management.
